The NHS patient notes app is a proposed solution to the current problem of note taking within the
NHS. Currently all notes are taken by hand. This means that all notes are stored and retrieved every
time a patient is admitted to ward and hand written notes can be messy and confusing. This solution
tackles these problems by equipping each doctor/nurse/therapist with an iPad. Each patient will wear
an iBeacon with his or her patient file stored on it. When the doctor is within 1M of the patent, they
will receive a notification. Once opened, they will be able to view patient vitals, results and notes.
Furthermore, they will be able to create new notes and type or dictate their findings.
