Sainsburys Your List

Idea Generation

Throughout the project we allowed ourselves to be influenced and inspired by Sainsbury's staff and their customers. Our idea grew and became very focused as we learnt the wants, needs and expectations of our end users.

Development

Whilst developing this project, I often referred back to the question: what is the motivation? Asking this allowed me to ensure I was remaining on brief, making sure the end user was at the centre of the development.

Design

The overall look and feel of the app is "Sainsbury's." We careful analysed there look and style and replicated it throughout our work. The aim was to make it fun, accessible and a pleasure to use.

Sainsbury Your List is a collaboration project. Our aim was to give customers a seemless omnichannel experience that is dedicated and passionate about building a personal relationship with customers and there local store that is unique to Sainsbury's. Furthermore, we want to empower store staff, directing resources efficiently where required, giving them the means to respond, support and assist customers for in the moment queries.

Throughout the project we conducted interviews with staff and customers. This gave us valuable insights from both sides and helped us to address issues that affected both the customers and staff annoyances.

Sainsbury's Your List has three main features which make it unique. The "Smart List" tells customers whether their products are available at their local store. "Call For Help" ensures that both customers and staffreceive the best customer service with as little disruption as possible. "Notifications" give Sainsbury's customers tailored personalised offers and discounts.
