The Brief
This was my final project for my third year, culminating in a years worth of research. I tasked myself with creating a functional app prototype that would benefit underground and touring bands, by allowing them to review and compare smaller, independent venues, creating a much needed dialogue that is lacking in the scene.
The Outcome
While Support Act’s purpose remained consistent, some of it’s features varied throughout the design process. In order to refine what was necessary for inclusion in the app I conducted extensive surveys and interviews, not just with my audience, bands, but with the venues themselves. Through this I gathered valuable information and feedback and was able to create an app that was truly tailored to my audience.
